How exactly does the “HEAT TO” “COOL TO” work?
Heats up to specified temperature, cools down to specified temperature. Iirc, there is a 5 degree minimum window between the 2 temperatures. Example: you can have your heat to temp at 65 and your cool to temperature at 70. If the temperature goes over 71, it kicks on the air conditioner to cool the house down to 69. If the temperature drops below 64 it runs the furnace to heat the house up to 66. There’s generally a bit of overshoot so your system isn’t cycling constantly.
