As a former firefighter/paramedic, I’ve seen it happen all too often when an alarm company contacts a totally different emergency service for a particular address, and sometime even reports the alarm address in a different county or state.
How can I perform a full test on my home monitoring system? Testing while in ‘Test Mode’ only tests the system of the Wyze portion - I need to know if Noonlight will be reporting to the correct emergency services and reporting my address correctly.
Not sure there is a full way of testing aside from turning it on and when Noonlight calls you, you can ask them.
When you set it up, you had to provide an address for the system (Home). it will use that as the address.
Find the phone number for NoonLight and a local non-emergency number for your local dispatch for emergencies and ask them. For commercial products the installers arrange to test everything but you are the installer. You should be able to do a test as long as you work with them ahead of time.
