Hold Mode Thermostat

I don’t want to set up any schedules or any kind of automation for my Wyze Thermostat, I juist want to use the dial or the app to set the temperature.

Is that the purpose of “hold” mode? Or do I need to cancel out any of the default schedules?

The Hold Mode overrides any schedules.

If you select “Begin Hold”, without entering an end date/time the thermostat enters “Continuous Hold” mode.

You can then set the temperature manually from the dial or the app.

You don’t have to delete the schedules.
