Looks like you’ve found your solution then.
I tried resets, restarts and nothing would allow the option to move the SD card button to be operable. I renewed my subscription on one camera then I was allowed to use the SD card record option on the other cameras. The SD cards are now working on the other cameras but would not until I renewed at least one camera.
That is very concerning to say the least!
I’ve never had a subscription and all my cams have the SD card option available and it works fine. Maybe doing a “reset services” would have helped?
Thanks Dave, I had tried resetting, restarts, but in settings where you turn SD card on to record the button to turn on was grayed out. I tried everything before I came here looking for maby something I hadn’t done. I did hear about formatting but format won’t occur unless you tellcamera to record on SD card again that control button was grayed out. I’ve only had 1 camera on subscription yet all my cameras wouldn’t use the SD cards. I gave up for now paid for the one camera then wow the others open up to be controlled and I was able to use the SD cards. I’m not sure why but at least I have time to change these out and not have this issue again. This is solved
Some sort of odd glitch I guess, SD card shouldn’t be tied to subscription at all. If you cannot format the card in the camera, do it in a PC using the formatter from sdcard.org - that’s actually the preferred method anyway, don’t think I’ve ever used the camera one. But if it was impacting all your cams I doubt it was anything to do with format. The only time I’ve ever seen that toggle disabled is when there is no card in the camera or the card is in there but can’t be read/recognized.
I had wyze sd cards and I still had the same issue.
