It is not fixed, as I have found looking over my recordings for today.
I reported this issue back on 2/13. Still not fixed and there has been at least one update, maybe more. My workaround is in the morning sometime I delete all events except the first one, That way if during the day I need to see something all following events will play for my review.

Ditto, both of my cams, (SD Cards.) Very frustrating. Can’t see any pattern except for first recorded event each day. That time of that first recording doesn’t seem to matter, mine are all over the place.

I don’t have this problem as I have android, but I see that using automation, one can “Upload a short video to the cloud”. Schedule this at 00:01am (or whatever time is convenient) and you have a throwaway clip.
