Yep, I use GParted on Ubuntu. ![]()
I am using a 128 gig in my OG. I asked Wyze tech support and they gave me a vague answer will I have a problem with this card? Should I format it exfat as someone suggested or just leave it be? It seems to be working normally. but only time will tell
This last firmware is causing lot of issues for me. When viewing live on my cameras. I’ve tried to reset, restart and reconnect. I think the firmware broke my 7 cameras. Not sure if others are having same issues. I have the Wyze cam 4

V4 5332 Firmware Connection Issues
Every since the .5332 firmware was installed, I have a problem with viewing multiple cameras in a group on my phone. Say, if I open a group of 12 cameras, the first four (which is all that fits on the screen) of those cameras will start streaming right away. But if I scroll down (or scroll to the side, if in horizontal orientation) to the next four cameras, then two, three, or all of them will usually hang at “Loading Live Stream…” for a long time and then either connect, fail, or stay hung.
Even if those four eventually load, the next for down (or previous four, if I go back in the opposite direction) are even more likely to fail to load or take a very long time to. Ones that fail completely usually show error -3005. When I tap one of the hung-loading or failed cams, it usually has to automatically retry (“Try to connect:”) two or three times before connecting, and often will fail (again).
Nothing has changed with my network. I remember that eons ago that something similar to this was common/normal (at least for me) with V1, V2, and perhaps V3 cams. But that went away, either due to better firmware, newer cameras, or with me replacing my two old routers with three beefy ones that use non-overlapping 2.4GHz channels (1, 6, 11).
This is not a problem at my.wyze.com/live. I can have 24 cameras streaming (usually 9 or 12 visible on-screen at a time) on there with no issues. I read in another thread that some routers might not like the new authentication method, so I will do some checking to see if that might be the case here.
This issues happens both when my phone is connected to my home network, and when it’s connected to Wi-Fi or cellular elsewhere away from home.

Do you have the auto-streaming on favorites enabled in the app (the default)? I’ve found that to be problematic, at least on my phone, and it would seem to “lock up” certain cams in the app on all screens. Once I changed that to disabled the issue went away and cam groups, live view, etc all work fine.
I don’t have enough v4s to have more than one screen to test them specifically, but it is worth a try as it sounds like what would happen to my Panv3s.
Thanks. The “Autoplay Video Live Streams” option is off. I think I turned it off about a year ago (or whenever the interface was changed to the current one with the Favorites tab).
Ah, well that’s all I can think of, other than maybe clearing the cache in the wyze app and also in android settings under the wyze app.
One thing I have noticed on my v4 since the firmware update is it seems to always show a still frame for 5-10 seconds when I bring up live view before it starts streaming. This firmware added a new security/authentication mechanism (Verified View I believe) which seems to be taking longer to connect now. My Panv3s started doing this same thing sometime last year.
Many here are reporting the same issue. I ended up reverting the firmware on some of my Cam v4 cams back two versions to 4.52.9.3415 until this issue is resolved.
Yes I have this same issue.
Camera V.4 issue with Event Recording Playback - NO Audio after 1 mins. Video are fine - CLOUD STORAGE-NO SDCARD
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has the same issue as me.
My front door camera V4 been having some weird issues since the last firmware update. Wyze Cam v4 Firmware: 4.52.9.5332 has been active since 2024, and the plugin version 3.10.1.
Event recording to 5mins mark.
Any event video: Only the first 1 min of the video. I do get audio from it. Anything video after 1 min mark is silent.
This happened after we took the last firmware update. Since then, no audio after 1 min or so.
Hope the team or someone can help.
Setting:
Events Recording - Motion: ON - Sounds: ON - All Events: Check
1st min of the video, audio sounds clear, so I don’t know at this point.
Thank you

I will throw my hat in the ring and report the same issue as @rholloman is reporting with six V3 and one V4. V3s are on 4.36.16.5654 firmware and the V4 on 4.52.9.5332. Not sure which one is cause of the problem.
