Thanks for your guidance, but this procedure only does a “reset” , and not a factory reset,
I was trying to get into a factory reset to try to erase the updates in the PanV3 but not possible with the 10 seconds hold at setup button.
Does someone know how to get rid of previous updates in the Pan v3?
If you’re asking about reverting to an earlier firmware version, then I believe you’d have to download that from the Release Notes & Firmware section for that Cam and then manually flash to the downloaded older version. My understanding of the factory reset is that it clears configuration data from the Cam to make it ready for new setup, but it does not restore whatever firmware version may have originally been installed on that Cam when it shipped.
If you decide to flash, then please be aware that the instructions to rename a “folder” are incorrect and that what you should do in this procedure is to ensure that you’re copying the appropriate .bin file to the root directory of the microSD card you’re using. Also, your card should be ≤32 GB and formatted FAT32.
