Why can’t your best Video doorbell Pro have facial recognition and Auto Unlock feature when I approach my door with or without having my iPhone with me?

Welcome to the forum @markcraven64

While I don’t know for sure… my inference is so that your lock cannot be unlocked using a picture of you as a security measure. Kind of like Alexa asking for a verbal code to unlock/open other IoT devices.

When Friendly Faces first came out I held a picture of myself at the doorbell and I was recognized as me.

I’m wondering why the Wyze Video Doorbell Pro doesn’t support facial recognition or Auto Unlock. It does open automatically once in awhile but why not all the time?
