Amazingly lucky or A.I.
Actually now I’m not even sure if it is an AA saying, I want to say it is part of that prayer they use. But I’ve never done AA (I’m not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings).
No offense to anyone in recovery.
When I was younger and more eager and had more faith in corporate America maybe I would have put in the effort to put 12 steps. At this point in life, I’m much closer to the other end of the spectrum -
Step 1 - F**k it, not my problem.
As illustrated below
How long before autocorrect can’t be changed back or cancelled? “No Dave, that is not what you want to type”.
I try to live by step 1.
Makes sense nowadays.
About a year ago, it was a big shebang among way to many users including myself. In my case I would get it two three times a day and it will last for hours or days. Not even live view would work unless I would put the phone behind a VPN or on cellular data. Wyze quietly fixed it. I’m guessing some sort of a bug.
Interesting, I guess I got my cams after that. For me it is at most once a day (and it got better, even before the 3.0 app hid the message) and refreshing fixes it.
What you describe sounds more like one of their hosting providers was using an IP blacklist that was blocking residential internet IPs or just having way too many false positives.
Who knows, As usual Wyze never explained what was the cause.
I mean all I can think of when I read these articles about stuff like A.I. paying someone on task rabbit to complete the “I’m not a robot” step for them, without anyone having given it that idea, is “we’ve seriously had HOW MANY movies about why this is a bad idea???”
That and “Dave is not here, man”.
Are two of my favorite Dave’isms.
I have had many bosses named Dave.
I wish Wyze would use A.I. instead of Al Gore Rhythms. (Need to loop back to cams.)
We’re like Agent Smith from the 3rd matrix. Just keep replicating like a virus.
Over the last 20 years I’ve been asked a dozen times to manage a team or lead something, I always decline. In my last “hey, its time for a raise” conversation with my manager, he was asking why I don’t want to manage. I was like, why would I want to be on your end of this conversation? He hasn’t mentioned it since
