I’m having an issue where when I access/full screen my Duo Doorbell feed it zooms in erratically towards the sky. As stated in the title I have a Samsung Z Fold 8 (as well as my gf, she’s having the same issue) and it only happens on the FRONT screen in portrait (not when opened). When turning the phone landscape, it works fine. There must’ve been an update with the phone that caused this issue because it was working just fine a week ago…
I deleted the device and re-paired, deleted cache and data, force stopped, hardware reset and the issue still persists.
I also tested on other devices and I discovered that it works fine with no issues.
There isn’t a “Smart Focus” option with this model, and double tapping the screen doesn’t work.
Since it only happens on the cover screen in portrait and your other devices are fine, it sounds like the app is struggling with the Fold’s tall, narrow aspect ratio rather than anything on the doorbell side. One thing worth trying is Settings > Display > Full screen apps (on some One UI versions it’s under Advanced features > Labs) and switching Wyze from full screen to 16:9 or the default option, then force stopping and reopening the app. If that doesn’t change anything, submit an app log from the Account tab right after it happens and post the log number here, since a Fold-specific layout bug is exactly the kind of thing the app team needs a log to track down.
