I am a Cam Plus subscriber with Person and Vehicle detection enabled. I also have a Detection Zone defined and enabled. But Events (Person and Vehicle) are being generated for people and vehicles outside the detection zone. Is this proper behavior?
To clarify: I’m not talking about notifications, but Events tagged with “Person” and/or “Vehicle” in the Events list.
CamPlus ignores the detection zone.
All event videos are uploaded for person / vehicle detection regardless of what triggered the event. The trigger is supposed to be within the detection zone though.
So, if your dog walks through the detection zone, triggering an event, and there happens to be a person / vehicle anywhere in the clip, the clip will be tagged.
