I recently became a shared user on a Wyze 3 camera so I could monitor my friends pool equipment while he is gone. Will i be able to get notifications when there is movement around the pump or will he be the only one to get notifications.

In short the answer is yes as long as your friend has the notifications and event recordings setup correctly. In addition to that, you will need to make sure that notifications is turned on within your app as well.
Make sure you do not see zzz across the bell located in the top right of the home page.
