Deselect floodlight on Wyze Battery Cam Pro

Is there a way to deselect the floodlight on the Wyze Battery Cam Pro? If not, can I tape over the floodlight?

Go to settings then spotlight and toggle off “Activate when camera detects motion”.

Then it won’t automatically turn on anymore.

Also, yes, you can tape over the spotlight. I was using one of these indoors, and the 1% option was still too bright to use as a night light like I wanted to, so I got some dimming plastic and taped it over the top. It worked great. I would use heat resistant tape, but it’s better to just disable the spotlight if you don’t want it turning on.
