When camera detects a person
Action turn on light switch for 7 minutes.
The problem that I am having is there is a 30 second lag from detections to the switch is turned on.
How do I get it to have no delay?
Since everything has to go over the network to process, there’s always going to be some delay, but I would expect it to be more within the 3-5 second range rather than 30. It sounds like the camera is not detecting you right away. Do you have cam plus or cam plus lite? Next time you trigger it check your events tab and see if the video WITH a person tag shows up BEFORE the lights turn on. You may need to keep refreshing by pulling the event list down until it reloads.
I have cam plus. I did notice the notification from the camera well before the light came on
