Wyze Cam offline/online app notification category
Hi good morning.
As you know I enjoy the wyze products and the cool notifications that come with it.
The notifications I’m referring to are the person detection. It’s cool that I’m able to set a particular sound when the camera detects a person on Android. I will usually look at the notification, look at the category that that notification is under the app and then change the sound. What’s even cooler on the Android is that it even though I set my phone to do not disturb at night, I can allow that wyze app notifications as a priority that way I still get the person detection notification.
Now the issue I have is with the camera notification offline/online. The notification uses the same (wyze sound 1). This is where I think that notification should have its own category, that way I can either allow it with sound or disable it. So my wife or I don’t wake up at night by being notified for multiple cameras that go offline and online.
I understand why that camera offline/online notification happens. Whether the Wi-Fi has a communication range or for some reason the camera may have be rebooted or Internet went off.
But I don’t want to turn off the (priority) wyze app notification at night. My wife has trouble sleeping at night and the offline/online notifications aren’t helping either.
