Here is the deer from another camera on the side of the cabin. It’s kind of hard to see, it’s in the bushes on the right.

There are coyotes in my neighborhood and they prey on small dogs. I know someone here whose 2 small dogs were bitten by a coyote, who was able to jump over a 6-ft fence.
I once encountered a coyote while on an early morning walk with my Bernese Mountain dog. My dog was bigger than the coyote and it didn’t even try to attack my dog.
There are coyotes around my house even during the day. This grainy picture I took a few years ago with a cell phone. At night when I walk my Golden Retriever I carry my thermal imaging night scope.
She’s back this morning.

There might be two. a cougar chased something last night. I can’t tell what the first animal is, light kicked in late. Might be another cougar.
