This same issue restarted for me after the update too.

I have the sensor notification set to notify me if the sensor is “Open” for 2 minutes. (This no longer works after the App & Firmware update, but it used to work)
I then have a “Rule” that turns on a lamp (Wyze Plug) if that same sensor is open for 5 minutes. (This still works),

So, obviously there is nothing wrong with the sensor. The app/sensor/Wyze can recognize that the sensor is “Open” for various lengths of time, it just isn’t sending a notification for “is left open.”

I submitted a log for you just now.

Ticket ID: 21586

Wyze Beta v2.12.3
Connected Bridge: 0.0.0.33
Cam Firmware: 4.9.6.104
Plugin Version: 1.2.6.17

Hope that helps.
I plan to just keep the firmware and wait out the update/fix.
