Just bought camfloodlight v2 and I cannot view the camera in my google home app. The Wyze app works perfectly. I can steam to my google screens and have deleted the Wyze link in google home countless times, deleted google home cache, all to no avail. Should i take this camera back?

The issue is not with the camera. My understanding is that the inability to stream Wyze Cams in the Google Home app on iOS/iPadOS (since you’re identifying as an iPhone/iPad user) is a longstanding issue that appears to be between Google and Apple. Whether or not you choose to keep the camera is up to you. In my experience as an Android user, Wyze Cam viewing in the Google Home app has been inconsistent in the past but has improved over time (despite Google occasionally breaking things in Google Home). Although the in-app experience trying to view Wyze Cam feeds on my phone and tablet hasn’t always been reliable, I have always had a pretty decent experience streaming Wyze Cams to a Google Home Hub, Google Chromecast HD, and a television running Google TV, and I think that latter part is what you’re describing with this comment:
As an aside, I also have a couple of Tapo cameras, and even the Android Google Home app won’t stream those, but I can still stream them to smart screens, as noted above. I can’t speak to whether those cameras would stream on the Google Home iOS app, as I don’t use iOS/iPadOS.
Google and Apple are mortal enemies, even worse than Microsoft. It has gotten downright petty at times.
The Wyze app will generally give you the best experience on your phone or tablet, so why not use that there, and just use the Google home functionality on the smart screens (where it should work fine)?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will use the Wyze app and stream to my google hubs. Still trying to get it to work on chromecast tvs but all is well.
I don’t have any direct experience with Cam Floodlight v2 (or any of the Wyze floodlights), but I’m using a variety of other Wyze Cams (and the Tapos) that stream to a Google TV and to a Google Chromecast HD device connected to a different (non-Android) TV when I ask Google Assistant to stream one or when I use the on-screen menu to select Quick Settings ➜ Google Home ➜ Cameras ➜ [individual camera]. I agree that the Wyze app itself gives the best overall experience because that’s what provides actual camera (and light) control, but sometimes it’s convenient to stream a view on a larger screen, so I hope you’re able to get it working with your TVs.
