Never thought I would see cats
NOT chasing pigeons away

For some reason my cats don’t attack pigeons or doves or crows either.
Small House Finches are another story though.

I was totally amazed to see neither of them go after the pigeons. Now that you have also said you have experienced this too, I guess us humans assumed cats go after all birds, now we know better​
The male, sleeping in front of the storage box, I call him Brutus, as he has been through a lot over the years living outside, and is the dominate male around, actually the only male around, and has gone after finches, and caught them, sadly…but since I feed the cats, the finches have been safe.
I thought for sure he would, and she, would go after a big bird…
The female to the left, is more amused than anything
