Want to share video and I can’t. When I go to share there’s two options for sharing and for some reason it’s TikTok and Facebook. I need to share with police, or my landlord, neighbors,etc. So, I click the 3 dots to share another way and it says downloading. But it says it forever! I’ve rest the app, cleared cache, rest the camera. I even updated the wyze app which I never do because it always breaks something. No of course sharing doesn’t work. I’ve owned 4 different brands of cameras and I refuse to update unless I have to because these companies manage to break more than they fix.
Typically, when I want to share a Wyze video with friends or family I download to my device and the upload to YouTube. I set the YouTube video to Public so anyone with the link can view the video.
I don’t use the “share”. I just use the “record” and/or “take picture” functions which saves it to your phone’s gallery. Then you can go share or send it however you want from there, I find it more flexible and it doesn’t re-encode the video/audio and add the “captured on wyze” at the end.
