What are the bases you connect to?
The base that you connect your cameras to wifi. If your cameras did not come with a base to connect & yiu just connected to your wifi modem directly then you need to get a wifi extender to bring a stronger connection to the wifi to the camera you having trouble operating correctly
I have a mesh system with 5 WiFi nodes connected by ethernet cable. There is no camera further than 2m from a node and most nodes only have 2 cameras connected.
The system has been working almost perfectly for over 5 years with most of the problems caused by Wyze pushing app and firmware updates that had faults.
The reason I asked is anyone else was having the same problem is that it is a good way of finding out if the problem is with Wyze or if it is local, and in this case it seems to be local … So I need to get the ladder out as I think it is a faulty camera.
i had this problem yesterday, like half mine were saying that on an off, they seem back to normal today (so far)
I had one go off and that wouldn’t restart. Then I had another one go offline but it came back by itself. The first one doesn’t seem to want to go online even when power cycled and all the rest of the so-called fixes.
I will replace it with a new one but it is far too hot at the moment.
Thanks for letting me know that I am not alone with this problem.
I had the same issue, thought maybe the heat was causing it. Moved 2 of the Google pucks a few inches and cycled the camera and it has been fine ever since.
The trouble with moving the pucks is that it may drop the connection with other cameras that are working. It is very hot here at the moment so I’m leaving it to see what happens when the temperature returns to normal.
