This has never happened before but for the last 2 days my camera stopped recording events.
I get the message that camera us not connected.
All other eletrinnicsvthat use WI-fi in the house are operating properly.
Yesterday, tried unplugging, plugging back into outlet, no sucess!! The only thing that worked was to erase camera and start the whole setup again… BUT I LOST all the previous events recorded.
Well, it worked fine until mid night. However, it started AGAIN Nothing has been recorded this morning.
Getting the same message (( trying to connect, camera not connected)).
HELP, please!!!
Here’s the connectivity troubleshooting guide:

If that doesn’t solve it, keep in mind that this is primarily a user-to-user forum. If you don’t get help here from the community, file a support request including log files. That will ensure that the logs are captured. You might want to submit the ticket right away because there’s somewhat of a backlog. You can always let them know it’s already resolved when they contact you.
Which model of camera? Is your SD card full?
I ask because I had one camera go funky on me. Tried many many steps, but what seems to have worked (for now) was to bring the camera near the wifi, remove the SD card and format it in my Windows 7 machine, add the camera back to the original wifi router (it had been moved to one close to the installed location, but that didn’t help), unplug it, reinsert the SD card and put it back in the desired location and plug it up. YMMV
Also, I think @Loki proved in another thread that adding the camera back without deleting it will preserve your cloud events. Obviously, formatting the SD card will erase anything on it.
Correct, if you add the camera back without deleting it from the app, and as long as the cameras hasn’t been set up on another account in the interim, then you keep the cloud events.
When you do a factory reset, is the camera re-registered to (potentially) a different server (or pool) for authentication activities?
If not, what precisely does a factory reset reset?
Thanks
