Device: ASUS tablet / Android 5.0 ~ Modem: Netgear 2.4 GHZ ~ ISP: Frontier. WYZE cam V2 with app 2.16.23 / firmware 18.104.22.168. First thing: Deleted the WYZE app and reinstalled it. Cleared all cache / storage. Camera install would go as far as scanning the QR code then would not connect to the modem. Solution: Changed the firewall settings on the modem from ‘medium’ to ‘low’. Also turned ‘off’ the firewall in WIN10, although this should not be necessary, but you never know what Windows is up to.
Have since restored the modem firewall to ‘medium’ and WIN10 firewall to ‘on’. WYZE cam is still streaming. HTH.
