After this lastest update I noticed my cam pan v3 and my duo cam pan were not following movement anymore. these two are in the house so I had detection zones set as to not catch the ceiling fans. It will track when I set to motion tracking on pan v3 and smart tracking on the duo but it forces the detection zone off. now they catch the ceiling fans.
Correct, this was actually changed a year or more ago, so it seems like you were on a very old version.
Note it never actually worked, the detection zone was ignored if you had track motion or pan/scan enabled. That’s why they now don’t let you enable both, it was confusing people.
This should not have caused it to start detecting ceiling fans, since the detection zone was not functional before anyway. Maybe your cam is just aimed differently now?
Cam hasn’t been moved and this is the second time it updated since installed a couple mths ago
