Can I put out another Cam OG base unit closer to the camera, having it behave more like a range extender?
I have an extra base and a camera that is way out in the boondocks at the back of the house.
This camera can only muster 1 WiFi bar and it would be nice to get more than that.
I do not think that will work. The camera can only be assigned to the one base it was set up on. Your second base would have a different MAC address and IP address.

Perhaps they can add that functionality some time.
Something like Asus has with their AiMesh function.
