Wyze underestmates their low light color. The cam switches to IR while i can still see well enough. Is this adjustable?

Have you tried adjusting Night Vision Conditions in Advanced Settings? I have CPL but can select Dusk or Dark.

Here is my screen shot of Advanced Settings. I can toggle Night Vision Conditions to Dusk or Dark.

I think the OP has a Cam Outdoor v2 that has no Night Vision Conditions setting:
