I can’t get the two bulbs to pair with my router. The bulbs are supposed to blink green when turned on. They don’t. Instructions say to turn the switch on and off three times. Is that from the off position…on, off, on? Or from the off position…on, off, on, off, on, off? I’m about ready to disconnect everything and go with a different brand.

I re-tagged your topic because Accessory Bulb is white only and uses BLE to connect to Bulb Cam. If it’s not linked to Bulb Cam, then it just acts like a “dumb” LED bulb.
I think you’re probably using Bulb Color. In that case, when I’ve done a factory reset on one of those, I’ve always started with the switch in the “off” position. I don’t know how slowly or quickly you’re attempting that, but you may want to try varying the speed of your on/off switching until you see the desired result.
What has Wyze Support said when you contacted them?
Also, please let me know if I mis-tagged your topic.
Thank you for your response. I don’t know what BLE is. I do have two Wyze cameras with lights on the property. I’m not using the colored bulbs. I have the white bulbs that are shaped like a barrel. I have walked through the app trying to do this myself. The chat goes way too fast to keep up. I haven’t called for live support. The company seems to want to direct consumers to their “do it yourself” options. Have a great day.
BLE = Bluetooth Low Energy. Accessory Bulb uses that to communicate with Bulb Cam. It does not have Wi-Fi capability, so it can’t connect directly to a wireless router. If it’s connected to Bulb Cam, then Bulb Cam should have a Wi-Fi connection to a router and BLE connection to the Accessory Bulb in order to control the bulb (and also to provide a pathway for firmware updates). If it’s not connected to Bulb Cam, then Accessory Bulb just acts like a “dumb” LED bulb.
In that case, they won’t blink green, and the “(C-BC-AB)” in your title makes more sense:
| Device | Product Code(s) | Blink Green? |
|---|---|---|
| Accessory Bulb | WYZECBCAB | |
| Bulb Color | WLPA19C WLPA19CV2 WLPA19CV2A |
What path did you use for that? You should be able to navigate from the Wyze app’s Home screen to ➜ Device ➜ Cameras ➜ Others ➜ Wyze Bulb Cam ➜ Accessory Bulb. Then tap through those instructions. Alternatively, you should be able to navigate from the Wyze app’s Home screen to a Bulb Cam’s Live Stream screen and then tap Settings ➜ Bulb Settings ➜ Linked Accessory Bulbs and do the binding procedure from that screen.

I haven’t ever called, and it’s been years since I’ve used the live chat. I typically contact them via e-mail if I have an issue that I can’t solve myself or with the help of this community, and I initiate that by telling the chat to create ticket:
Then a robot e-mails me, and I reply to that with more detail to get a human response afterward. That way I don’t have to wait on hold, and I can reply when it’s convenient for me.
Now that I have a better understanding of your title and see the additional detail you’ve supplied, I’m going to change the tag back to Accessory Bulb and add Bulb Cam because you appear to be trying to use those together. If I’m wrong about that, then please feel free to correct me.
