Best filter for a basement?

Hey everyone

I plan on buying a unit for my basement , i have my washer and dryer down their , breaker panels , water heater , plumbing , and all that good stuff . It’s cement and it can get a little dusty

Just wondering if I should get the formaldehyde filter or just the regular allergen filter ? Thanks

I would say if you have any VOCs in your basement then the formaldehyde filter would be the best choice. Other than that the standard HEPA filter would do the trick.
