WYZE Web site shows for use with Battery Cam Pro. Global site probably has old add from before the Pro came out.
Ok that clears up a bit, so do i need the adapter to it as shown? Thanks for your help mate.
Ok so there are 2 different ones shown on the Wyze site, I need to find out if they sell the Battery Cam version on the Global as the one they have might be correct and it doesnât work with my camera?
I think the specifications for both solar panels listed are the same, not two different panels, but I do think you may need the C adapter. I will check the specs on both listing and maybe someone that has both the camera and the panel can chime in.
Panels are the same, see below. Adapter is required.
Global site tech. spec.
WYZE Site tech spec.
Antonius, You are correct. The U.S. site shows an available adapter which converts âMicro USB Femaleâ to USB âCâ Male
Ok cool will wait to hear if anyone knows about the adapter required or not, cheers
Great thanks, they have only the below listed adapter on Wyze global site without a photo is this the same one only it has a plug so most likely not?

Cheers
No that is a totally different item.
Click on my name, then message and send me a message maybe I can help you out. I am a big fan of Western OZ.
I found out the underlying problem is the firmware bugs of Wyze battery cam Pro that causing mulfunction of the charging pot the charge the battery either via AC adaptor or solar panel. The charging only work when one turn the camera into live stream and let the mobile phone stay on. Uunder such circumtance, the camera status light is blinking green, suggesting it is charging. If one set it idle, ie get out of the live stream, charging stop, no more blinking light.
Wyze should discovered such bug long time ago but apparently this is ignored. All they could do is to check by pluging power to the camera pot. I hope they could correct such problem soon to allow us to use solar panel to charge the camera, instead of climbing up to remove the battery to charge in door.
Nice work!
Nice work indeed! Thanks for sharing this!
Has anyone tried an alternare solution to chargethe camera whilst mounted?
They have sent the solar panel but havenât said anything about the required cable and itâs not showing on the wyze global as an item I can buy, is this something specific only to Wyze or can I find an alternate source here in Oz?
Thanks for all your help mates!
The WYZE web site states if you purchased the solar panel after May 2023 the cable is included ?
I donât know about the global site.
@mdgs3 said above you may/will need a âMicro USB Femaleâ to USB âCâ Male cable. You can probably find one of those in many stores or from any on-line vendor.
I donât know how long it is but the picture I posted above should give you an idea
The solar panel comes with everything you need to connect to your camera. I connected to Battery Cam Pro Camera, and it seems to be working. To be fair I have only really had one sunny day since i installed. But when the sun was shining i did see that the battery was charging. It is slow.
Maybe? @indy00038 is in Australia and purchased from the WYZE Global web site which may or may not have the new included cable. I hope it does.
I got this for mine have two of them and so far the last month keep the batteries at 100%
