# Battery Cam Pro -- Event Recording Question (SD Card)

I have firmware 1.4.1.2289, I put an SD card in the camera and formatted the card. I want to record events to the card longer than 12 seconds with no cool down period. There seems to be no way to do this without getting a subscription for the camera. I’m using the new v3 Android app.
