Welcome Back ??? Did you cancel your account and start again or start a new account. I have Cam Unlimited $99.00 + tax ($99.99) on yearly plan, set to renew in October.
Nope, no changes were made to my account. I just woke up and saw this and realized the app updated to this version.
Thanks I haven’t seen anything about this. Although it’s not June so I’m not sure why this is happening right after the update. It’s not necessarily that I have a problem with a couple extra dollars a month, it’s just that it only showed up like this after my app updated to the newest version with no prior notice. Unless it’s some weird coincidence.
I logged into the web version and it still shows my old cam lite but no cloud videos and it shows that I’ve been paying $9.99 a month in history but it just keeps saying upgrade ![]()
I just updated to iOS: 3.13.0.18 App and all the Basic features I use are working (viewing Live View, viewing Cloud videos, jumping from a Cloud Event videos to SD card and deleting single Cloud videos).
I Don’t use lock screen widgets, so don’t know if they work.
Also, all of my v3 cameras that should be online are online.
I am not brave enough to try the new Android version yet. If anyone has updated to the new Android App version, please post if the above Basic features are working for you. TIA.
Been running Android 3.13 PR 784 for a few days now. I am able to successfully do each item you listed.
- viewing Live View
- viewing Cloud videos,
- jumping from a Cloud Event videos to SD card and deleting single Cloud videos)
You mentioned v3’s. I no longer have any v3’s online. They’ve been replaced by 5 v4’s
I am also able to use the 1x1 widget on my S24 phone but not on my tablets.
Somewhere in the past few releases wyze has improved the performance of the app. Previously my litmus test was opening a group with 10 cameras. Typically they would all open within 30-40 seconds. Now I’m able to run 14 cameras and they seem to always open in 25-30 seconds. Everything in the app seems faster now.
Currently running 90+ devices, 40 of them wyze.
Bottom line-I’m happy with this release
Thank you for your info. I updated my Android devives to 3.13.0.784 too and all my basic use needs are working for me.
IOS lock screen widget is excellent I have 8 cams in mine.
Motion Tagging slider appears then disappears
Since v3.13.0 (18) the option to turn on motion tagging slider appears for a second, I can turn it on then disappears from the screen and is turned off next time I launch the app. Wyze people, I’m getting tired of having to field troubleshoot for you, am looking actively for a replacement. Your techies need to step up and test their products better. I still have audio problems I reported damn near 10 years ago that have never been resolved. Your prices are cheap and so I guess reliability is something we shouldn’t expect.
[Mod Note]: Your topic was merged to this app Wyze News announcement topic for better visibility to Wyze.
« This device has been turned off issue » has been corrected in the new beta 3.14.0 (12) .
Wyze must have made more updates under the hood, as this version (Android 3.13.0.784) crashes for me right after opening. I read the crash log and getting this error:
com.google.android.gms.tasks.RuntimeExecutionException: com.google.android.play.core.splitinstall.SplitInstallException: -5: Split Install Error(-5): Split Install API is not available
So Wyze must have implemented something new in this version, as I rolled back to 3.12.0.773 and it runs fine.
Can someone pass along to the devs? @WyzeJasonJ
Btw, I tried the latest beta version with same results
I will pass this along to the devs.
Are you having problems with your night vision also
Anyone on this release version having issues connecting to floodlight pro on cellular data, I’m having issues connecting on cellular but it connects on WIFI after a reboot it connects on cellular 2 times then don’t connect after that only works a reboot fixe it for 1to 2 try. Then it’s stuck on 2of 3 and never connects
Hi JasonJ -
I’m Jay… new to the Wyze world… Trying to connect a Wyze Cam Pan 3 (fresh out of the box) to a eero network operating 2.4 and 5. The app (downloaded today from Apple APP store) recognizes the eero local WiFi.
Would you recommend downloading the FW and locally flashing the camera?
If so, where can I download the FW? I’m relatively technical. Downloading, unpacking and renaming a file is certainly easily accomplished ![]()
Welcome to the Wyze forum. I am a Wyze user like you. You can find firmware for your cameras on this link.
https://support.wyze.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024852172-Release-Notes-Firmware
When I put a new Wyze camera in service, I have found it best to let the camera update itself. I will manually flash the camera firmware when having problems and want to revert back to an older firmware version.
I also leave Automatic Firmware Updates OFF. When I read on this forum other users are having a positive experience with the newest firmware, then I will go into the camera settings and let it grab the latest firmware.
FYI, we cannot manually download firmware for several model cameras we once could. I have been asking why to employees that frequent this forum, but they just blow me off.
@jay.newgate is looking for cam pan v3 firmware. The releases are listed via the URL you provided, but the current firmware is not available for download.
