App & Firmware updates - Released 3/23/2026

Very true, not everyone can do what we do. But when you look at the forum members that are in the Wyze Beta testing program, it’s clear some want to be first with the latest Wyze Apps and firmware.

I tip my hat to those that do want to be first trying new software and sharing their experiences on this forum.

As I said before, I only jump on the bandwagon with the beta app as I always have a fail back option. When it comes to firmware, I’m a bit squeamish, although I’ve done it once or twice :laughing:

I doubt anyone on the forum is getting paid by Wyze except the employees, but I’ve been wrong before :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I suspect you are 100% correct. With that said, I think you may have misinterpreted my attempt at humor.

Probably :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:, written communication can be so impersonal!

Wyze support and updates are a joke. I will never update software or firmware again.

Updated the firmware, knocked our cameras off the wall monitor causing a safty issue.

Spent 10+ hours on the phone with them begging for help only to get contradicting instructions. Tell me to do something one call, then the next person says its wrong and to do somethging else that the next person says is wrong stupidity circles.

OK product + crappy support + poor coding = JUNK.

And yet I seem to be getting lots of messages from Wyze expecting me to buy some more of their products !!!
