At the beginning something flies by, but I can’t tell what it was.
Is it some kind of raptor or owl with something in its talons?
I wish I knew. I couldn’t pause it to get a good view of it.
I’d go with an owl as it’s dark outside ![]()
I figured, too. There was a hawk that went in the same direction woth a mourning dove a while back, but not at night.
This is why we need to have @Loki enable Solved for Captured on Wyze.

Ha, I wish. Neighbors have a pit bull that attacks.
I’ll bet a lot of the younger generation don’t even know where the flying monkeys came from.
With the few blurry stills I was able to grab, co-pilot suggests a great horned owl. Possible other candidate, eastern screech owl.
Wow. Even the blurry stillsI got were way too blurry to make anything out. Thanks.
I think I have watched the Wizard of Oz every year since first shown on TV in 1956. Of course we didn’t get a color TV until about 1965 ![]()
Same here. Those flying monkeys were scareyto me back then, haha. I believe our first color tv was a Sony in 1969.
If you can download it into your gallery on your phone you may be able to edit it and watch it frame by frame and possibly turn a clear one into a single photograph. That’s if your phone has that capability. Of course you could also do on a computer with editing software too.
Sheesh. I didnt even think a out doing that, haha. Thanks.
You’re welcome. I do it all the time. My cameras catch the wildlife around here often because there’s quite a bit here.
