I really like this idea, especially since widgets are broken.

In addition to the long press action, since you can drag these out and make them like apps

Implementing this would completely negate another request I made:

Wyze should clean this up and start with a new “Favorite Device/Group 1 × 1” widget that can act like a single icon launcher/deep link into a specific chosen Device’s and/or Group’s main screen within the app.

I’m totally on board, because this is a much better solution and would essentially supplant the need for a 1 × 1 widget. This gets my vote.
