Careful wiring anything to your house.
It has nothing to do with the wiring.
It just has to do with the wrong screw being used in the wrong place.
The front face plate is secured to unit using a small set screw. People have been putting long sheet metal screws in it’s stead piercing the electronics and battery compartment.
