Have both front and rear of house with pam cams and cam plus on both. We get rather accurate person detection. I want to put an announcement thru echos when a person is detected, only at night as a security measure, to know when we have prowlers.
I have it setup and it works fine only from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am. My issue is that I wanted more than one echo to make the announcement. Unfortunately I can not find a way to have two echos do the announcement. I set up a second routine to make the announcement from another echo, however only the first one runs.
Any one have any suggestions?
I tried having the echos just make the announcement but found no way to control which ones and what time of day without a routine.
…it couldn’t be any easier? Alexa, Devices, Cameras.
And if you want to do the same thing in a routine, just use Announce:
