The Wyze app has the feature to create groups that include a master On/Off button for all devices in the group.
There are several submissions for snoozing options per camera, some of which have been implemented. This request has different use-cases.
Request concept #1: Include a master notifications/events On/Off button for all devices in the group.
Request concept #2: Allow us to create one or more group “pause” buttons for notification/events. The pause configuration would include letting us set a time duration that the notifications/events are disabled then reenable after the duration expiration. Current per camera snooze options appears to offer only predefined times.
Purpose: We have a garage camera and several outdoor cameras that view our yard. During planned activities, the multiple cameras send frequent notifications that are unnecessary, overwhelming, and fill the event history. If one of us is asleep these notifications can disturb/wake us. We would like to disable notifications/events but still have the cameras provide live viewing and recording to our SD cards. Currently, we must go into each camera’s settings to disable and later enable notifications.
Use-Case #1: One of us works first shift, one works third shift. When we leave the house, the garage and front house cameras cause many notifications/events. We would like to disable, leave, enable. An pause button is best since the leaving the house is a short time period and we would not have to stop and re-enable manually.
Use-Case #2: When we perform yard we would like to disable notifications/events, mow the yard, then enable notifications/events. Mowing the yard causes a ton of notifications/events. An on/off button is best since the yard work duration is often unpredictable.
Use-Case #3: Having friends over for a patio gathering causes a ton of notifications/events. An on/off button is best since the activity duration is often unpredictable.
Thank you.
