A Deer caught on 5 CAMS (one from Logitech)

A deer rounded 3 sides of my house and I caught it on 5 cams. All night vision, and all zoomed in a bit (so they are a bit blurry) One of the cams (for comparison) was the Logitech Circle View Doorbell cam). This is a great video demonstrating a comparison of Cam Pan and V4, plus the Logitech, as well.

This video is from a couple of years ago, but deer like to pass through my neighborhood on garbage pickup day.

That Logitech looked like crap by comparison.

to be fair, they were all zoomed in, significantly, and different percentage of zoom, so its not an exact comparison. Here are 3 comparisons from the Pan 3, the V4 and the Logitech Circle View Doorbell Camera, full screen, no zoom.
The V4 kills the other 2, but I must say, the Pan 3 pales in comparison to the other 2, as far as night vision goes.

No deer around here, just these guys on their commute to work.

Huh, I didn’t realize that Racoons and Rabbits could breed together, but that baby is clearly half jack-rabbit with the way it’s back legs keep hopping instead of walking.

I think it has a bad left rear wheel or tire, been gimping around here for a while. Second one under the fence gate..

With the way it swings that leg out laterally when it’s moving more slowly and taking steps, I wonder if it’s more of an issue with the left hip joint.

Or to many :clinking_beer_mugs:

Maybe a battle wound or fell out of a tree?

Maybe. I’m not a raccoon physiatrist. I was just curious about the apparent gait abnormality, because it looks like it’s bearing weight on that foot when it comes to rest, and the way that leg swings out I’m thinking it might be something more proximal in the kinetic chain.

Here is a raccoon around my house last year with a hurt foot too.

Here are some deer captured on a V4.
