With this update when I click on the alert and it takes me to the still image(only using local storage… i.e. Not cam plus user) when you click playback it now takes you to the live feed instead of the event time on the recording.
You need to be a Cam Plus user to get any benefits from the Camera. You will see still images and only the live view without it.
Earl… Prior to this update when you hit playback it took you to the playback position on the local SD card.
This behavior now is not correct(takes you to live feed and not even SD card) and needs to be fixed.
I can’t speak to that. I have CamPlus and it just goes to the event on my end. You may be onto something.
Honestly, I wouldn’t even use these cameras without Cam Plus. Especially the outside cameras… motion events all over the place. I Person/Package/Vehicle detection is the bee’s knee’s (as the kids are saying these days). It’s just world’s apart better of an overall experience.
I understand… but for me Cam Plus is beyond my needs… and my means as well. I just need the functionality I can get with storing the video on an SD card.
