3 Notifications for One Event

I have a V3 set to record all motion events. A car will drive by and it will give a motion notification (which is fine), then a vehicle notification, then another vehicle notification. Why does it keep giving me 2 vehicle notifications for the same event? I end up having to turn off notifications because my phone screen gets bombarded, which is really annoying when I’m trying to playback previous events.

Oh and I had to set it to record all motion because smart detection isn’t smart and misses too many things. So now I have to go over a ton of event for branches waving, birds and insects. It’s very frustrating that it misses so many things it should be recording but can’t see them because apparently they are too far out, yet easily visible when watching the live view. This is the stuff I wish Wyze would focus on and stop making new products that have the same software issues.

Does this really need to give us 3 notifications for 1 event? Seriously! Can someone at Wyze explain why this happens?

Exactly I’m hav the same issue also. Who do we need to have so many notifications o the same thing back to back. SMH

I know right?! It’s beyond ridiculous that I’m getting 3 notifications for 1 event. For my phone is constantly bombarded throughout the day with notifications. And the only way to stop it is to turn off the notifications, so then could miss critical events that need my attention right away. You’d think it wouldn’t be that difficult to fix the software so it gives us 1 notification for 1 event.

Does anyone from Wyze monitor these forums? There was something about Wyze intelligence being a solution. I have 2 cameras plus the door lock in the front of my townhouse so walking out front for my dog to pee and coming back in results in a min of 6 alerts. On my old Argo system there was a record until motion stops setting so only one alert. If I stand still out front for more than 30 seconds, as soon as I move, I get another alert. Anyone figure out any settings?

I think your only solution is to turn off Notifications when you will be in the camera’s view. Apparently we can’t rely on Wyze to figure it out.
